1. Waikato-Bays has (finally) announced the 2014 Twilight Mixed Doubles Interclub competition, with play scheduled to start on Friday, February 14th. So, we need to get teams sorted so that entries can be submitted on Monday, 10th Feb, for a scheduling meeting that evening.
I will post a signup sheet on our bulletin board tomorrow morning, but in reality, if people are interested in playing, please let me know by return e-mail ASAP. And if you have a desired team, please let me know that also. (NOTE: I do have a team from Casey Tarau.)
Please be assured that the 'late communication' issue will be addressed with Waikato-Bays.
2. With our Waitangi Seniors tournament on 6th/7th February, and the Legacy Funerals Juniors tournament on 8th/9th February, the courts will be in use for tournament play the next 4 days.
Those senior members who want to play a 'club day' on Saturday, 8th February, can go to either Tga Lawn or Gate Pa Tennis Clubs for Saturday tennis if they wish.
