For Senior members, Saturday Club Day tennis will continue through the holidays at 1:30 pm; there will be no further Sunday Club tennis at this time.
Interclub tennis is finished - Otumoetai teams did quite well overall. The Men's and Ladies Premier teams were runners-up; Otumoetai Matai (Keiran McSweeney, Jun Nam, Stefaan VandenBroek, Josh Pepper, Reuben White and Dion Reed) won the Friday Night Men's A Division 2; Otumoetai Rimu (Mike Pierce, Fred Kleve, Carsten Beetz, Michael McClutchie, Ken Richards and James Dadson) won the Friday Night Men's Doubles; and Otumoetai Kauri (Peter Trass' team) and Otumoetai Gems (Christine Bougen's team) made the playoffs in their competitions.
Upcoming activities in 2013 include Friday Night Twilight Interclub (starting in February); 2012-13 Club Champs (Mixed Doubles - 16th February, Men's/Ladies Doubles - 16th March, and Men's/Ladies Singles - 23rd March); and the Waitangi Weekend Seniors Tournament. Signup sheets (for the Twilight Interclub and Chub Champs), and entry forms for the Waitangi Weekend tournament, will be available right after the New Year.
